Electric Vehicle Charging

The popularity of electric vehicles has grown and grown over the last few years. Battery technology has improved meaning that the distance that you can now travel between charges has significantly improved.

The greatest advantage is however the reduction in emissions (figures suggest a reduction of around 40% CO2) compared to a conventional petrol or diesel powered vehicle. There are also some significant financial incentives to running an electric vehicle too which include:

  • No road Fund Licence or company car tax if the cost of the vehicle is below £40,000
  • No additional emissions charge in congestion zone (London)
  • Plug-in Grant and EV home charge service grants are available
  • Possibility of free parking in some areas
  • The advantage of overnight charging on cheaper energy tariffs (eg Economy 7)
  • Petrol pence per mile starts at over 12p, Electric Vehicles can be as low as 2p per mile

Being are partnered with Garo for the supply of OLEV approved electric vehicle charge points, you can expect the highest quality and a range to fulfil all budgets and requirements. So whether it’s a home electric vehicle charge point or you need multiple charge points for a business carpark, contact us today to discuss your electric vehicle charging needs.
